Troubleshooting
It is recommended to use the latest versions of the BA Book Everything plugin and its add-ons as security and performance updates may be released from time to time.
Most issues are usually related to outdated software as well as conflicts with third-party themes and plugins. Some caching plugin settings can also cause issues as well as misconfiguration in BA Book Everything plugin settings.
Below are the most common issues and their solutions.
Emails are not sent
The BA Book Everything plugin uses the WordPress core mailing function. So all the email magic works on the WordPress core side.

Empty search results
Make sure that every booking item has defined "available from date", "available to date", "number of items" (default is 1), "maximum number of guests" and at least one rate with prices. They are required to make things work properly.
It is also possible to set the option "Return all results without checking availability if no dates are specified" to "Yes" into BA Settings → General admin menu to get all items as a result of search request or shortcodes output ([babe-listing], [all-items]). Please also check if all other settings in the BA Settings admin menu are correct, and "Maximum number of months in availability calendar" is greater than 1.
To troubleshoot any other issue
- Make sure you have the latest and correct BA Book Everything plugin files, reinstall the plugin from WordPress.org if needed
- Turn on the debug mode in the wp-config.php, reproduce the issue and check the debug.log file for possible errors
- Check the details in the browser console for JavaScript errors
- Deactivate caching plugins, all third party plugins and try again
- Switch to the standard WordPress theme and try again
