General

The General tab contains the most common settings described below

  • Date format - Chose between day/month/Year or month/day/Year
  • Booking object post slug - Set the word from your business, like an 'apartment', 'tour', etc.
  • Booking object singular name and Booking object general (plural) name - To customize the page titles on the dashboard
  • Booking object menu name - You can change the default admin menu name

Pages managed by the plugin​

Certain pages are required for the plugin to function correctly. Each setting must specify a separate page.

  • Select which page is responsible for what (example of a drop-down field)

My account page settings​

  • Disable My Account page and new user mail - Prevents users from managing their account and from sending emails when a user registers in the booking system
  • Remove the default login/register form from "My account" page - When you need a personal account from the plugin, but you want to provide a third-party login/registration form (for example, via a shortcode directly in the content of the "My account" page)

Listing and search options​

  • Search result: items per page - Number of booking objects per search results page
  • Taxonomy archive page: items per page - Number of booking objects per taxonomy archive page

  • Return search results without checking availability if no dates are specified - Activate this option to show all booking items by default search
  • Do not include availability calendar data in search results - This option allows you to improve performance if you do not use the booking calendar on the booking object page
  • Use "OR" logic when searching among taxonomy terms
  • Remove search query arguments from booking item links on the search result page - Defines if the URLs should include query parameters or be 'clean'
  • Search result view - full or grid (must be supported by the theme)

File size optimization​

  • Use minimized version of the main CSS file - minimized version is lighter and loads faster, but the code is harder to read/edit manually
  • Use minimized version of the main JS file - minimized version is lighter and loads faster, but the code is harder to read/edit manually

Reset settings​

img Check box and click "Save Changes" button to reset all settings to their defaults.
